Frosted Night

Upon this frigid weary darkness
Sight is limpid and clear
Of crystal'd formed whites
That cover mountains and grant chills

But mysterious wonders lurk
In the heart of the night
Hiding essence and kindness
A night that pleasures fright

But it doth present imagination
Of a childs mind tonight
That dreamed beyond the everlasting
To cover the hills in light

That grew to be, thus a man
With vivid memories to spare
He desires the genial night
That roamed his sulking heart
