Freeing Of My Mind

Opening up a door
That I have had locked, and barricaded,
Is terrifying!
Surely a door so closed, should remain so..
Blinking letters that are
forming words.
Walk away!
Warming!
Deflecting my thoughts.
I am being pulled in from the energy it creates through the feelings.
So many emotions, flooding in all at once.
Regret!
The despair in the air.
As i pick up my pen,
The big metal door to my mind creaks open.
I can see a glimpse.
It's dark.
Ghostly shapes, hidden under the sheets.
memories.
I have chosen to
Ignore.have designed their intricate webs, strategically suspended from the ceilings above my head.
This part of my mind
I have chose to avoid.
A chill runs up my spine.
The memories that have been waiting to be freed so vividly
begin to breathe, and speak.
The whispers are
silenced no more.
As the memories unfold they are in thoughts, and an intertwine mess.
They seem black and white,
Eerily silent.
As each memory is released
I scribble with my pen and the freeing of my mind begins.
