For you

You're the only one I dream of,
The one I want to spend my first and last days with.
You are the ray of hope, right from the sun.
You are the one true friend that I adore even more.

The one I trust blindly, even if I had no eyes to see.
I'd trust you with all my heart, even if you'd make me bleed.
I'd do anything for you, just to please you and see that smile I long to seize.
Yet feelings are strange and harder to read.

In my dreams I'd never miss that kiss,
The cuddles that I long for although they don't last.
Breakfast in bed, just you and me,
That is just one part of the dream I see,

I'd shave my beard just so that you'd like it, although that would not make any difference.
I'd sing Can't take my eyes of you, just to hear you laugh at least for a start.
But no matter what, you'd always have the one thing I have never let anyone get close to,
To be the one, the only one to get the closest place in my heart.

~ Forever yours it will be ~

Mohamed Azumee

I liked to be called a poet or a lyricist. I attempt to explore and find out my true potential, for every day is a day one learns. I like to write what I feel mostly, surely words are felt from the mind and heart. I hope you enjoy my work. Feedback is always welcome. Some poems are very old since they were archived from the old site. Kudos to Hall of Fame :)I am 28 now. I have been writing since I was 12 and a member of poetry.com so some poems that are old since 2000 or 2002 may sound childish but hopefully would be an enjoyable read. more…
