When drugs are around they're a pain
with pretty names like Mary Jane,
speedball, eightball, nickel bag too,
all this does a number on you.
They take you up and up so high,
like you really think you can fly.
But don't you know it's all a trick?
That some of it can make you sick?
Alcohol plays a mighty big part.
All of it puts a strain on your heart.
So don't do the joint, don't do the pipe,
