Don't see me off.

A beeping tunnels through,
The darkness of my room,
Piercing a luminescent soul,
And it hurts…
But I don’t know why?

The church beckons,
But God doesn’t know me,
Ghosts tip-toe around,
Pensively lost…
My ears are bleeding I’m sure.

She stares towards the ceiling,
Punching the smokey bandages,
Can’t feel saddened at all,
Herald I’m leaving…
Her mouth will soon forget me.

Socks wrap my feet up,
Boiling under this fucking quilt,
Coldly the night caresses.
Messaging me???
No trouble graces the moons heart.

A thousand masks prevail,
Hiding a drowning heart’s cry,
Won’t see this head again,
Forget it…
Send a carriage to help me on my way.

Akira Dawn Claim this poet
