Day by Day

Pain is a feeling
that comes often,
tears is a thing
that never happens.
Day by day
I get by,
hiding myself
from the inside.
Nobody ever sees
the woman within,
only the image
that I perject.
'Cause with a smile
on my face,
to the world
there are no troubles.
As the pain
never goes away,
and the tears
never come.
