Crossed

Crossed 6/3/99

I had feeling of sadness
For two days, not heavy,
but all I could do
was weep

I didn't know why .....
I found out later
you had gone
and it seemed the stars
had dimmed in the sky

You visited last night
Maybe you sensed my sadness
I was just lying there
Not sleeping , eyes closed
Trying not to think

I felt an airiness
a bright lights twinkled
behind my eyelids
I saw shimmering glints
coming closer and closer
I felt so happy
I felt lightness

I knew it was you
my beloved friend
I heard myself
laughing in my sleep
I knew it was you
visiting me

You told me stories,
so I wouldn't be sad
 but there were no words
I just understood
And we laughed

This morning
I took your little goose,
I sat her near my mother
when I look at them
It seems as if they are talking
and laughing
and laughing .......
