Crickets wearing pyjamas
Wake up every morning to watch the drama
They quicken near the corner stones of my room just to
Watch me groom sharpen my brush and thicken my hair and wear makeup
With flair
Last Tuesday I had a bad toothache so they brought me some pears
I am beginning to understand their feeling for me so hidden and discrete
I am going to meet them when I go out someday and give them
The crackers that exist in May
