Cowgirl

The wind whips about her face
As his long, muscled legs carry her fast
Across the wide open space
So level, green and vast.
She rides with ease and grace,
Her saddle has been bypassed.
She does not wear frills or lace,
She knows her t-shirt and jeans will outlast.
A smile of pure joy is on her lips,
Her horse listens well and keeps his form.
His coat glistens from her loving care.
As her horse playfully skips,
Their movements are in uniform
Making such a lovely pair.
