Waiting

Jessica Sipes

Sometimes the waiting is hard,
I have so much love to give you
But waiting is something I must do,
This tender heart I need to guard.
Please be true to me as I am to you,
Your heart, lips, and purity safeguard,
Please do not let your love be marred.
I know those who wait are few
But I am one and let you make two.
