Cloud Nine
Whether midst walking shadows,
I feel the keenness of you--more distinct
Than my own voice against the
Wall--blank and shattered.
On the RTD #4--
The other day, I found you beside me.
We said no words...just smiled at each other,
And I felt good and--grateful. Indeed!
In this home--far from Home, I am constantly
Looking for you, and finding you, everytime--
I would fall back to my old self, under our
Own cloud nine...and I would wonder why
You have changed, when you cannot...the
Innate longings and desires of the heart
And--eyes, ears and stomach, etcetera, etcetera.
Please tell Maria that her flaxen hair
Is Marilyn's, and Pedro's blue eyes are Frank's.
I am not alone in my looking...I find you
Looking, too, everytime--
Whether midst flying...in our cloud nine.
