By Land or Sea

There once was a great question directed to me,
"From which do you think we come from land or sea?"
I looked around to give it some thought!
My friend asked again "from which were we brought?"
I pondered the question and a smile came to my face.
My reply to be "I'm here because of grace."
"Grace?", my friend said "who is she?"
"It's not a person it's a gift to you and me."
"You are nuts." Still he asked "from land or sea?"
I replied, "My grandfather didn't swing from a tree,
and my grandmother didn't swim by a tail in the sea."
"The qift of grace I spoke of before,
comes from he who created the world."
"This grace offers life everlasting for you and me,
and the answer to the question By land or sea."
