broken souls

My kids father ran away
he couldn't be a man
he didn't stay
now i am left with 2 broken souls
a young man and woman alone i have to mold
the hurt hearts they show
to fix the pain i don't know
he disappeared and hurt us all
but i have to be strong i can't fall
i love my kids no matter their pain
being mom and dad is a teriible strain
teaching my son to be a man
i fell short the streets took a stand
and my daughter loving the wrong man
was not the d*mn plan
i thought i did my best
they would rather leave me in stress
i thought after 10 years they wouldnt miss
the older my kids become they only become more p*ss
it seems trouble they find
their father's love toward them is still blind
i wish i could pour their hearts out into his hands
baby daddy i wish you were a betta MAN.............. voices of dee
