Breathe My Amber Sunset

Sit with me on the seashore as the albatross
flies into the soft amber sunset...
Your hand holds on tightly as the dark winged
shape disappears into a fading horizon...
                                                      ...hold my breath.

I hear your whispers on a silent breeze that
fills my heart with tomorrows sunshine...
In the palm of my hand is the dawn of my
                                                   gliding seabird...
Fading in your eyes is a sunset of glowing
                                     amber ...sweet is death.

Waves sing their gentle song of pleasure for
                                                our smiling moon...
Still I feel your footprints walking across my
heart ...so many stars shine as your kiss
touches my lips, our love can never part.
