Breathe
The air is cool, the light is pale
Breathe it in, and then exhale.
Absorb the night, take in the day
Then let it out, complete the way.
Winter's gone and spring is here
Soon the birds' songs, will be near.
Cast your troubles, to the wind
There is no guilt, to defend.
Arise so early, before the crowds
There is much beauty, in morning clouds.
I've breathed so many, times before
Who could ask, for this and more?
Right now, the moment, I would keep
Shattering some, restful sleep.
Cares have not, made their way
Into this, a glorious day.
Troubles come, and then they go
There's always more, don't you know?
From conflict now, take your leave
Breathe in, breathe out, and do not grieve.
