Breaking Bones

The bone breaks,
               upon solid stone;
The heart fakes,
               pain of being alone;
Shattering life today,
                     dying to relieve the pain;
Nothing left to say,
                     drowning in the rain;
Wandering from hate,
                       escaping the wrath;
No more to relate,
                 falling from the path;
A mountain of sin,
                     crashing down upon me;
No way I can win,
                    nothing more to see;
No more do I stand,
                   crawling to my fate;
Wondering where to land,
                             knowing it is too late;
Nothing more to doubt,
                        broken are my bones;
My body was not stout,
                         alone, my spirit groans.
