Bliss

Wishu Sindhu

As you lay down here besides me
Oblivious to everything outside
Happily lost in our own little world

This becomes a bond that sets me free
My wontedly closed heart opens up wide
Around you all my feelings are whirled

As you sleep close to me, drifting to infinity
Carefree, Content, Serene. Feeling safe by my side
Head resting upon my arm, body against me curled

Your femininity makes whole my masculinity
All disquieting dilemmas resolved, all doubts untied
Watching you sleep, the purpose of my being is unfurled
