Before she wakes

Dear lord;

As I prepare to leave,
Keep her safe as she sleeps.
If I die before she wakes,
I pray to you to keep her safe.

Hold her close help her keep her faith,
Let someone be there to wipe her tears from her face.
Bring the family together let them lean on each other,
Bless her with children she will be a wonderful mother.

If you could help her smile each and every day,
It won't be easy as in her heart I shall remain.
Tuck her in at night and let her have the best of dreams,
As I will longer be there to kiss her on the cheek.

I know I haven't served you the best that I can,
Look into my heart I think you will understand.
This prayer is not for me it is for her and her faith,
Please keep her strong if I die before she wakes.
