Desire

The clouds roll in and the sky goes dark,
Haunted by you and the memories in my heart.
Longing for one touch a small little kiss,
Tears on my face as it is you that I miss.

Never knowing if we will ever cross paths,
You are in my heart yet I feel so very sad.
Alone with nothing but hope and faith,
That one day I will see your beautiful face.

Until then my heart will never truly be whole,
As you are the one that burns deep in my soul.
Like the heat from the wildest forest fire,
You are the one my only true desire.
