Beaches
Pale beaches love to lie.
I have no idea why they do it.
But I guess they just hate me.
When I walked along the beach,
It decided to swallow me.
Why did it choose this horrible choice?
Tossed by icy waves,
Half drowned, in a haze.
I'm drowning, now far from the beaches I once loved.
I now know their stupid lies.
