April
April rained on March and laughed
as springtime danced into a green meadow
and tossed her head with mirth.
May stands by with a shy grin,
knowing that she will gain
lovers who will tie June knots.
Ah,and what of wily June?
Every child's favourite month
as schoolbooks get tossed aside.
