A piece of love,
was lost in the aftermath.
A tragedy in it's own right.
So fragile it broke,
in only one night.

If only a moment,
can bring a return;
to what was before.
So special a love,
the loss is a burn.

Will it ever be again.
the same sweet love?
Wishful thoughts linger,
a pining so tender.
Will we ever surrender.
our lonely hearts?
