A Child Is Coming

How God only knew
When dreams of you were few
That life could be so true
How God only knew

As the days went by
And we hoped and cried
Our thoughts of you
Carried us through

With darkness lasting
And no dawn passing
We could only wait
And anticipate

But then we saw
How your life was more
Then could be stated
Look what God created
