I was in a desperate search for true love
Instead of joy I felt hopeless
Was I ever going to find that light?
After falling asleep a voice said
This is my love for you
I'm what you have been searching for so long
Come and see how much you mean to me
I saw this innocent man with his face covered in blood
Arms stretched by painful nails
Bleeding through his side
I felt the warmth of his blood in my hands
Leaving an indelible mark
I'm Jesus I gave my life so that you may live
Search is over
I found the light resting in the purest words
