Why I write

Some people write to showcase their mind,
Some to open the eyes of the blind,
Some to fight for their belief,
Some people likes to share their relief.

Some like me write to relieve pain,
So that we can forget and cleanse the stain,
So that we can share some part of us,
To gauze the wound before a pus,

A poem is a beautiful form of art,
After pouring out; begins a new start,
Poetry is like an abstract painting,
You look at it without training.

You have to look at it another way,
or in a confusing state you'll stay,
My pain and sorrow are not plain to see,
Most will just look at the title and flee,

I write so I can keep smiling and sane,
So I can drive on the happy lane,
We all have our secrets we want to keep,
We try to bury them in the deep.

But it ends up getting found,
For the deep place comes around,
For everybody will look somewhere deep,
We will search for it no matter the leap!

But I changed it and kept it shallow,
Now these words are hard to swallow,
For the secret's there, but don't know where,
Poetry is the perfect secret lair!

Don't have to dig hard to bury your thing,
Just cover it with words that has a ring,
For this is the reason why I write,
So that I can stand and keep on the fight!
