My Life with You!

When we got together your light shined so bright in my eyes.

But the more and more that we were together the more and more you take from me.

You tried to steel my trust, innocence but most of all the sanity within my soul.

Even though we are still together, I feel all alone.

Me in my room and you in yours.  Not talking nor laughing but fighting when we are together.

There are a lot of times when I just want to break free!  
But something keeps me still in my life.

When I look to my future, I see an unhappy lady who doesn’t want anyone in her life,
because she is afraid,
Afraid of having her life taken over again.

I tell people that you can’t help being this way, and I know that you have problems.
But not EVERYTHING is corrupt and not EVERYONE is bad.

It is my wish that you could just see how I see people, places and events.

So, in my room as I am writing this, I must remind myself that I am a good person, who has trust, innocence and most of all sanity within her soul.

And that is my life with you!
