The Titanic

SN Qadri 1982 (Hyderabad)

There was once a luxurious world named Titanic,
It looked really fantastic standing in the Atlantic.

Thousands were jubilant to travel in the vessel,
Never in their dreams could this ship cause any hassle.

Finally when the clock strikes twelve,
All the feet ran towards the ship like every man for himself.

The big ship began to move in the British waters,
The excitement in the air got only hotter.

The pretty, the ugly, the big or the small,
It was a dream come true for all.

On an unfortunate wee hours’ time of April Fifteen,
One spotted a berg which he wished he had earlier seen.

But alas, it was too late to respond,
Through the ship’s body, the part of the iceberg was already gone.

The salty water began to sink the ship,
Some were covered full while some till their hip.

After a couple of hours the titanic was fully submerged,
Only a few were alive when the crew performed a search.

This was a very unfortunate day for the Titanic,
Many will remember it which caused a lot of people to panic.
