Time

Time. With so little time that we all have in the grand scheme of the entirety of the word itself. Its so disheartening to come to the realization that we have but less than the blink of an eye to live a life worth remembering! To hold value as a being worth telling our children about! Even the thought of being such a person that deserves such praise that our children to the power of infinity may some day know our name or hear our story! Such a person would be worth any level of currency multiplied by an endless number! A person of that magnitude should be held to standards never before seen or even thought of by anything or anyone! But as the story plays out who gets to decide the measure to which we place greatness? And at what point do we need decide what the truest definition of what great is? Due to the vast number of variations of others views on what classify to them as great, how can men and women ever really create a scale of what is the greatest thing ever? As seconds tic by even the thoughts of what the previous second held and what the second that passed could have been reside within! When is time considered wasted? Or can it even actually be? Even if your time is spent doing litterally nothing but the basic functions your body needs to exist! That time was not totally wasted! It was a time that was needed for yourself to rest relax or even spend with absolutely no other worry concern or even all the way down to thought except breath in breath out! A great man once asked me if i was counting down the number of days he had left to be of this world! To which i relied with pronounced haste...YES!  Because i want to know how meny i had remaining with him! From the fraction of a moment to an infanint eternity no amount would ever be enough to have with what i consider the highest level of greatness reguardless of fault or flaw! When asked if I could set on a bench and speak to anyone of the past present or future my answer always seemed so clear...myself! Someone who could openly share their thoughts about my own who actually views things from a perspective of not just their own but litterally every viewpoint! And who could freely speak to me about my faults and flaws! But as my time passes by i feel my answer has found a snag per say! I was recently forced to tell the greatest man ive ever know good bye forever while watching that same man walk this life next to me! Such a feeling has left me torn and tormented by my personal thoughts! Dad! I love you in a way i will never ever be able to put into the words in which they deserve to be spoken! You always will remain in my heart and my mind as the holder of the title of Best friend! ......For what its worth buddy! Dan Black
