My Addictive Mind

As an addict I thought, and often fought,
A Million trys to often change my ways.
Glimpses of dreams , Not often Caught,
My Blindfold is on Until Brighter Days.

In my Past, And just as fast,
My Anxious Road wont End..
The Fun and Excitement had to Cast,
A shadow where my heart would bend.

Now the past is Gone, And so it Should,
Bring Light where it ought to Be,
Friends will come and Go as they would,
Yet Bring nothing but pain to me.

So I'll concentrate on me this time,
And leave all the darkness behind
And I'm positive I will finish the climb,
To Clear my Addictive Mind..
