One day at a time...

Each day is a struggle
When you wake up and wonder where the day will lead.
Getting out of bed seems like half the battle.
Putting on a smile, pretending you’re ok..
No one understanding, just passing judgment.
People thinking your life is perfect,
Not seeing the hurt, the pain... wondering if this is your punishment.
Taking one day at a time,
Wondering when things will go right,
Struggling with depression is hard,
It’s a battle within, deciding if it’s worth the fight.
Never thinking your good enough, seeing all your imperfections. Being someone your not for other peoples satisfactions.
Every day is a struggle... to decide to live. To fight another day. For yourself or for others?
One day at a time, minute by minute.
Fighting your fight, because the world needs you. Just remembering that this is something you have to finish. Fight the negativity, the self harassment. Look in the mirror and remember God has a plan, one day at a time. Wake up and remember... this life is mine!
