Savage

The label of savage
Does it apply to anyone not the same
Not average
If so that's a shame

The people in the villages
The Farmers, The Chieftain, The Tribesmen
Not polluting their land with businesses
Are they labeled Savage then

Close-knit tribes devoted to family
The little nation
Living peacefully, simply
Should under their picture Savage be the caption

The little children
Living in peace unconcerned
Deep respect for elders grained in
Oh, but how the world turned

The world turned when
People started thinking themselves better
That living simple a sin
People started becoming settlers

Tearing through tribes
Hiding behind guns
Guns against knives
Killing even their sons
That's Savage

Bullying those not dead
They say follow our customs
Or we will hit you in the head
Now that's savage I say and said

Plundering and Pillaging
Killing the chieftain
Destroying and Stealing
Calling others savage when they can't see that we are all human.
That's Savage
