naked earth

Gregory Ramos 1961 (Azusa)

troubled world starved
 a naked earth raped
 natures voice gaged
 winters white
 glistening blanket
 this desire and dream
 transforms into love
 a warmed land, lust and want
 will not questioned our soft
 fortunes of mother earth
for she cries in the night
and her anger strikes
the things she loves
then blows them out by
ravishing the land
she moves the ground
and lays waste on the shores
then love for she is the
eye of the storm
