Gathering the little Children

charliewang 1950 (Montgomery)

Gather lil chillins cause um fixin ta lay some noing down.
Tell yo mudea I aint crazy jus spittin wisdom from bein round.
I hear tell yall wanna know how we noe when thans iz real.
Comon lil chillin come lisen to wisdom, itaintno big deal fo real!!.

Say what? yo mamma say umma brain washchu, how she no?
sheon ebun no what i no, she scade to come hear somp sheonno.
Tell yo mama and yo daddy dat dey kin come hear me too
cause um bout to spit dis truth to all chillins, and dey chillin too.

I now stand erect for an effect that my words are received without doubt.
That perception is not always as one's eye receive them as being about.
All things real (physical) existed before our exposures to it.
All things not real (intangible) only can exist through us.

Now git on outta hein um done, yall chillin gone play!!!
