Fire

Laura Nicole 1985 (Michigan)

She never ever thought it was real.
Because it had never happened before.
She really never even thought about it before.
Things weren't the same as they were before.
The way it happened left her yearning for more.
The way he made her feel was something that was completely different and unexplained.
He lit some sort of fire within her soul.
It made her feel irrational and out of control.
Something in her soul desired so much more.
Things were changing at a pace that didn't make any sense,
But looking back at the way things were didn't mean they were past tense.
The drive, the fire, and the passion,
Left things stirred up in places that she failed to mention,
The desire and the warmth beneath his touch,
Was something she missed and desired so much,
The fire was left lit,
Even on the coldest night she could still feel his skin,
Creeping into the cold night like a warm cup of sin.
The amount of pleasure and love from within,
Wrapped her up in a blanket of him,
Time had no chance,
The way things ended up, seemed like pure chance.
Make no mistake,
It was no one night romance.
