The Days Have Not Changed

It's been two years since that tragic day that the good Lord took you away my anger and bitterness still remains because I still had so much to say. I try to make sense of Gods final plan as to why he needed you at that certain time when he could have just let you stay I try real hard to make it through the day with out remembering the time I got the call you were gone but then I'll hear one of your favorite songs. People tell me its time to move on but in my heart the pain has only grown. the night you was born you brought a special kind of love never had I known.
on the day we were to say our good byes I ask the Lord to let me take your place so you stay and live to see the day your son married and had children and see your life be filled with Grace. I know its time to set you free but my heart and soul won't let it be maybe one day I can open my heart and let go of the anger and pain and let your spirit finally be free. That's when I will know the days have changed.
