You try to be funny you try to be true,
but they’re not sure it’s really you.
You try to be honest not feed them a line,
but they’re not sure you’re one of a kind.
Now you don’t have a million not fond of wine,
Is this the end of the line.
You buy their dinner and a drink or two,
Are they through with you?
