The ceramic whisper

The ceramic whisper
By: Ibrahim Attia

***

The colored ceramic whispers
with his secrets
over the high trees of the walls
Stretching with flowers
On the shades of delight
The birds sing in the daylight
The more I go on with the road
I walk, delighted, filled  with love
Throughout the city
The land, clearly, heard  my foot-steps
I feel I go high
Alone

I walk in the middle of the street
Kidnapped by steps
I turned around to the shop windows
My shadow surprises me
Which is outstretched on the asphalt
I tucked between faces and lanes
The street vendors on the sidewalks
Are wholly engaged in their grief
So, I walked alone absent-minded
Worried by insomnia
Repeating a song chanted by the nightingale :
One day I had a heart
stoked by nostalgia
My wounds, awakened by pain,
 did not calm down,
Grabbed by loneliness and gloominess
And I don't have experience in love
I don't have a boat
her spectrum meets in the crowd
And we cross the river over the water
And go deeper and deeper
