Pudding

Seema Ali

Free verse
There sitting on my kitchen table
Is a pot of milk
Is a can of sugar
Is a saucer of butter
Is a loaf of bread
A bottle of essence and a pinch of saffron
Mixing them up
Baked in a saucepan
Greased with butter
The result is a soft,spongy pudding
Bravo!
