SEEN

SEEN
Tell me in a word all you've seen
What does it mean to be truly clean?
Did you see the Heavens go to war ?
The evil one opening that cursed door?
Tell me have you seen it all?
Did you see the Angels fall?
Recount for us all you've seen
What does it mean to be truly clean?
Did you see the Fall of earth
The moment Sin had its birth?
Tell me if you heard the serpent's lie
That led Adam and Eve to surely die
Whisper to the world all you've seen
The story of our Heaven's King
Did you hear the cry of the Heavenly Stanger
Lying shivering in a stable's Manger?
Did you hear the Angel's cry of peace on earth
At the moment of our Savior's birth?
Weep of the sorrows that you've seen
The trials of Messiah that made us clean?
Tell us what you know of Judas' heart
Did you see the Traitor's kiss impart?
Did you see God's suffering and loss
As His only Son was nailed to the Cross?
What does this say of all you've seen
The shouts of the Joy that He'll bring?
How God's own Son lay silent, dead
Then rose again as He always said
Did you see the tomb empty and bare
And know that He wasn't there?
I'll tell you in a word all I've seen
What it means to be truly clean
I will answer and give you God's Word
And show you all I've seen and heard
And learned as I saw God's very face
A word, to be clean...it is "Grace!"
AMEN
