Dreaming With Piano

The Prophet Obblonge 1978 (Abilene, TX)

Fangs, sharp, too many, dozens
The pallid blue of mortuaries
When he looks directly at you he always smiles no matter what the topic of conversation is
Eyes rolled completely back in head
Close-up shot of long eyelashes, from above
Everything is green here
Swaying, luminescent, a giant worm parasite, one, living inside the body
Ownership of people
Sainthood and conquering, armory stocked to bunker's ceiling with poisons
Hollow injectors man-made, glass and steel, alcohol and bleach
Binds, leather and surgical, artificial synthesized skin
An allergy to plastics working too hard to save the unrepentant
Tears open sacs internal, mellifluous infection yellow goldenrod seeping onto the ceramic tied floor
Centipedes kept in shelves lined with aquarium cubes, wood, tobacco-stained, static white noise on convex glass projecting from at least fifteen televisions are the only light
The giant worm can be seen when the head flops backwards at the neck, swaying, mouth open unhinged at jaw
Brandywine, caramel coloring, malt liquor, ambered glass
Frozen in crystalline the eyes open staring through the observer windows' open panes' curtains heavy and polyester olive drab swaying into the starry wisdom of the night beyond
They're not knocking this time
Silk ties nooses beheading on escalators
Finally

The Prophet Obblonge

Erupting with preaching performances, The Prophet Obblonge explains, proclaims, transmutes, and delivers clarity to the masses for their edification and to bring awareness to the still uncertain fate of his beloved fiancé, last seen with a white supremacist narcissistic abuser in Michigan. Fans of horror fiction, true life drama, comedy, and pointed social commentary alike find Obblonge’s insightful, exasperated gospel to be an invigorating, motivating experience presented without fear of reproach or regret. What’s your problem? Issues resolved. Crises averted. Wonders explained. Be amazed. Lost? Depressed? Questions? The answers are waiting…. Everything is the repetition offa pattern. Everything. You can pretend you have free will. You can pretend you have a soul, or even consciousness. And then you can open the envelope I gave you and read what I said you were gonna pretend. Toldja. Five albums released by Obblonge Box and more. Tap the three words into any search engine and uncover varied works in many mediums. One cannot be shielded from the truth.
