Make It Count

A poem for everyone...personally from me...

Poem Title: "Make it count"

Choose to be happy ... not sad,
Choose to be thankful ... not mad,
Choose to love and be loved
Always thank the heavens above
If you're scared, don't be afraid
Have faith in God and always be brave
Your time on earth is running out
You must believe and stop the doubt
Pray for peace instead of war
Do your best and try to do more
Value your life and the life of others
Treat everyone like sisters and brothers
Be honest, be kind, don't be blind
Don't hate...relate...pay everyone mind
Respect one another...including yourself
Remember Jesus sacrificed himself
Cherish the moments before its too late
Make it count and accept your fate
We are all born and we all die
Don't forget to live before you say "Good-Bye"
For when your time comes on judgement day
You must go...you can not stay
Nobody, no pets, no jewels, no money
No nothing can come with you on that journey
But you won't be alone for God is with thee
And he will ask "Are you coming with me?"
Angels and Demons will be standing by...
On the day of judgement, when it's time to die...
Will you be ready to face the truth
Can you remember your childhood youth
Did you sin in any way
Did you pray everyday
Will you be proud of all you've done
Did you believe that Jesus would come
Did you have faith in God alone
Did you make a happy home
Did you honor your mother and father
Did you protect your son or daughter
Did you take anything for granted
Did you ever steal something you wanted
Did you follow the Ten Commandments
Was your life full of enchantments
When things got dark did your light turn on
Who will miss you when you're gone
It's not too late ... you have been found
Now make it count and change things around
It's time to think of things to do
Make a change or try something new
Finish something that you started
Prove you CAN be BIG Hearted
It's your choice to make things right
It's your choice to stand and fight
Fight for honor and your right to live
Not for hate because you can't forgive
Trust in God ... Have faith in him
He will be there when your light goes dim
Don't be afraid, be brave and know
He will be there when its time to go
So take a moment to think things through
Pray to him ... He's waiting for you
He is your Father ... He is your Friend...
He is everything in the end...
You still have time if you're still here
So make it count and have no fear
Do what it takes ... See the point of view
Be thankful, be true, be honest...Be You...
Take care of your issues...
And pay your dues
Value life ...or you will lose
Treat each moment like its your last
Live life to the fullest and have a blast
It's not over when you're gone
You just move forward...as life goes on
You must believe without a doubt
Death will come ... There's no way out
But there is one thing you can do...
Make it count... God is with you.
Peace...
