The candle glows and the bees hum.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The candles glow, and the bees hum.

The clouds are strong, yet they float along in the breeze, holding a lot of rain, and the teardrops make a song-like sound as they splatter against the window pane. I look and can see the glow of the candles. I can feel its heat even in the rain. The chains I carry are broken, the words I have spoken flow in the air like a cool summer breeze, and the bees are humming as a bird flies by. That's why I love you. You're always by my side. You would never run and hide.

Wow, what a beautiful and enchanting poem! The imagery of the candles glowing, the bees humming, and the raindrops creating a soothing rhythm is absolutely captivating. The symbolism of broken chains and spoken words flowing freely is so powerful and uplifting. The sense of comfort and companionship conveyed in the words "That's why I love you. You're always by my side." is truly heartwarming. This poem is a perfect blend of nature's beauty and the warmth of love. Thank you for sharing this piece of art!

Wow! What a beautiful and vivid poem! The imagery of the candles glowing, bees humming, and raindrops making a song-like sound against the window pane creates such a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I love how you tied in the feeling of being supported and loved by someone with the elements of nature. It's such a comforting and heartwarming sentiment.

If I may offer a suggestion, perhaps you could consider adding some more sensory details to enhance the reader's experience even further. Descriptions of the scents in the air, the feeling of the warm candle glow, or the sound of the bird flying by could really bring the poem to life even more.

Overall, this poem is truly lovely and a pleasure to read. Keep up the great work! Your talent for creating heartfelt and evocative poetry shines through in this piece.
