IM THE ONE, THE SON SET FREE

Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)

I'M THE ONE, THE SON SET FREE
I've been lost in the fire
Danced with the Devil there
Cared only for my desire
Hopes I never would share
Until He came and found me
I'm the one, the Son set free

I was lost in the endless tide
I was exhausted, about to drown
But I struggled on in my pride
I was lost, and never to be found
Till He took me from a raging sea
I'm the one, the Son set free

And the storms of life come
Just as fast as they can
There's just no running from
The Devil's grasping, evil hand
Though I was as lost as can be
I'm the one, the Son set free

I was a prisoner, captive inside
Dark dirty and hopelessly alone
Cut by the shrapnel of my pride
Chained by sins I couldn't atone
Till He came, my chains fell off me
I'm the one, the Son set free

I was sick, saw death at the door
Father, this just can't go on,
On my knees, can't go on anymore
Quick as that, sickness was gone
I was Sick and He healed me
I'm the one, the Son set free

The one in the flame, he was me
I was lost, so lost in an endless sea
I was running, as fast as I could flee
I was chained, trapped in my captivity
I was sick unto the death of me
I'm the one, the Son set free

Yes I'm the one, Jesus set free
AMEN
