Platitudes

Platitudes

No, everyone does not agree
Platitudes are not truth to me
It’s just false positivity
Cloaking deceit and indecency

No, everyone does not agree
On positive and good thinking
Because it’s not true reality
When others don’t mind you sinking

No, everyone does not agree
So, bury your head, and post lies
Deflect from truth and reality
It is all just the evil in disguise

I have NOT been given a choice
Positivity and platitudes are not real
I have no peace and have no voice
Because some trauma where they killed

And it’s the same kind of madness
With no conscience and black soul
]That spout self righteousness
And leaves their victims feeling unwhole

It’s the same abusers that spout lies
Platitudes and positivity
Never seeing what in them, abides
True darkness, evil and indecency
