My angel cuddled me

My angel cuddled me in a time of sin
Her wings wrapped around me so i could live
Don't be scared as she ran her fingers through my hair
Her soft hand on my face as she gave me this glair
She told me I've been here before and that this wasn't my first war
Look at me, my child I know this is wild but have some faith with me you are safe

My angel cuddled me, she spread out her big wings
She wrapped them around me and brought me in
The next time I saw her she came with her friends together there was seven like the song from highwaymen.
