Every woman is a Princess

Every woman is a princess...

You may be living in motels
trading with your body in hotels
stories of your irresponsibilities headlines in hostels.
and you have no dream at all to model
yet.
Every woman is a princess

You may not have the gait and carriage associated with royalty.
and you may be far from the culture and attributes of loyalty.
your language may be one with vulgarity
devoid of the ethics of majesty.
yet Every woman is a princess.

You may fight with the iron bars
erected by the foul treatments and abuse that got your self-image marred

You may be struggling with the voices in your head screaming "Woman you ain't good enough."
yet all that doesn't negate the fact that
every woman is a princess.

Your castle maybe mud house
Your royal chariots your worn-out shoe
depression and inferiority complex your maidservants.
Ashes of failing marriage and unkept promises are your Cinderella garment.

Yet Every woman is a princess

Don't let the horror of the grievous rape,
Or the recurring images of the abuse tape,

Don't let the despicable shadows of failed marriages.
The inner wounds inflicted by the cuts of those demeaning adages,
crush the princessly crown on the head of your heart

For every woman is a princess.

You are a princess
yes you are, Your Highness

You are, because your father is The king of Kings.
You're a princess because royalty is your nature and DNA.

You're a princess, cos you were created by the artistic hands of royalty, not with ease.

You're a princess cos you were redeemed by the precious blood of a prince, called The Prince of Peace.

You're a princess because you were made in the image and likeness of The greatest King there is.

but you have lived below royalty cos you scarcely know the truth about you

but you have lived below your destiny cos you rarely believe the true you
