The Alma mater

THE ALMA MATER

- Epul Hussain

Memories are always alive all through life
It is the alma mater that educates us to the fullest
that remains intact
When you miss the rhythm and stop anywhere on the track
You can make it run again
Life  changes with the passage of time
Many come prior to and as many post to
Many become effective, many become competitive
But somewhere down the lane, memories are still alive at the moments of empty table, empty eyes, empty ground
As life turns its innings, so many bouncers and yorkers come in
defensive shot works there
so that the wicket will be safe and survive till the end
and the score board should move
showing that you are in the game
The practice session is over for many of us
Now it is the innings running
and who is in the process has to remember the popular saying
"For the World is a bigger school."
Yes, it is.
