Ramblings

I would not long for wasted time.
I will not give to that which was never mine.
I will not hope for a better tomorrow,
should it mean I need to beg, or borrow.

I cannot give that which I don’t possess.
I can not live in a world of so much excess.
I cannot go where they want me to.
I will not know, if you ask me who.

In time you will see, some day you will know,
That we will never be free, until we let go.
