Am I America
Shamallah 1988 (United States)
Delicate woman am I yours to use?
Am I the one you'd be friends with?
Draw me close and I will kiss your lips.
Am I likened to your mountain, like the art of your creation?
Can I ever be something that makes kings come to see?
If only I can put my knitted strings ,fifty shades of colors, upon your shoulders.
Make you warm and glad you looked upon me.
You know without you I am nothing, be my shade, you'll be my shade.
Like you painted myself I will draw you.
If I'll ever be something it’s a tremble and a song, for height and soothing words.
If ever I see you I'd make you mine and cast aside my thought.
Take a hold of you like I would a long missing love.
Never find me through the stars but let me find you.
Now I see the shades of my scar holded on your shoulder.
The way you illuminate my words is a steady star if only you know the number of them
you'd fall in love.
For a love sees one star while the other two, while I see them all.
Hold fast to me and I will be your friend, make you see me.
And if only I walk around the side walk its to be yourself to hold your memory.
Give me sweet love something I know you like so you can always look for me.
Give me tender woman your cunning heart and mind so I can be a love you'll never forget.
If I can express to you the love of my glory I'd put my mantle of fifty stars on your path
so you can tread like a Queen, and if ever you need to pray I will gather them as strings underneath
your knees.
Crafted with your counsel, tailored by your artists, extolled for being a wonder.
If kings knew you they'd war for thee, and if they valued your work they'd grow wealth.
Its not imaginary all of this it’s a wonderful thought that should be made.
Of all the works of my love these are my heart's designs.
Linger at the doorway and wait for me.
Call me your slave and pierce my ear and bind me as a jewel.
Call forth your army and call them mine.
For a friend is one who shares majesty.
I feel you see me already its why I write politely.
Tell me how hard was the world after you said to me I will be the nation to lay myself at your feet.
For sure every nation will bow and I will be the one you find in the time you need.
For you are like the fair woman every man gives gifts too and I the fool who knows to honor such
a beautiful woman.
If ever I knew the way of the world I'd be wealthy but I found you sweet and kind woman.
I see the world through your power understanding everything you've taught me.
I see forests burning at the time they want to be a strong people, when the renown want to extend
their borders.
The way it all happens is very troubling.
But there is something that makes it all truly wonderful it’s the coming of your wonderful husband.
Those are the hopes of all the world being a reality.
