SITTING IN A CORNER

Sitting in a corner all alone
curled in a ball
backed up against a wall
waiting to see if he is going to strike
me on my face, or to see if
he is going to put me in my place,
how I just wish and want that embrace
but I don't think its going to be right,
but hopefully I see the light
that shines so bright.

Sitting in a corner all alone
praying for GOD to
take away all the hurt and pain
that damaged my brain,
take away all the harm
that made me put a needle in my arm,
praying that it wouldn't do any harm.

Sitting in a corner by myself
wondering if there's any help
to stop the horrible abuse,
that I was majorly put through
wanting and wishing I could sleep tight
all through the night
without having to keep an open sight,
praying GOD to tuck me in
to keep me away from sin
and all the horrible men,
that I had chose
not knowing which way to go.

Sitting in a corner
staring at the wall
wondering if me or anything
is going to fall
just like a bouncing ball.

Sitting in a corner
in a brand new home
trying to forget my past
that happened so fast
wanting to get my life back on track,
just so I don't have to look back
at my horrible past.
